The City of Saint John is seeking a single vendor to implement Push to Talk over Cellular (PTToC) radio equipment in City vehicles with seamlessly integrated handheld radios to support communications between employees.  Functionality must allow the users to initiate and receive Talkgroup calls with zone support and channel announcement, receive private and quick group calls, supervisory override, Talkgroup scanning, and location reporting.  This equipment will play a key role in enhancing productivity and safety in the delivery of public works and transportation services.   

The vendor is to supply and install PTToC solutions in a minimum of 100 vehicles / employees.   The equipment and services must provide coverage in at least 90% of the City of Saint John geographic region.
