The work to be done under this Contract consists generally of the supply of all materials, labour, supervision, construction plant, equipment, etc., necessary for the completion and commissioning of the work that consists of:
•Installation, commissioning and operation of a temporary bypass pumping station control panel including new temporary power, to be operated by the Contractor throughout the duration of the works.
•Contractor to install a temporary SCADA panel, provided by city of Saint John, to provide transmitting the high-level float alarm and pump failure only.
•Removal of the existing brick lift station control building,
•Construction of an elevated reinforced concrete foundation slab,
•Purchase and installation of new fiberglass building, and the installation of new and existing components onto the elevated foundation slab as indicated on the drawings,
•The Contractor is responsible for dewatering all existing infrastructure prior to, and during connections to said existing infrastructure, as well as diverting flows as required during the Works
•Supply and installation of approximately 20m of 25mm water service as shown on the drawings (including vertical piping through the foundation).
•Installation of new galvanized stairs and railings as indicated on the structural drawings.
•All existing electrical equipment to be reconnected as shown on the drawings and as described in the contract specifications.
•Temporary works including but not limited to security fencing, Traffic Control Plan, signage, shoring, dewatering, sedimentation control, etc.
•Site works and landscaping of properties disturbed as a result of the construction including restoration of surfaces following installation; and,
Other related work all as shown on the Drawings and described in these specifications.
